Pro Spot International, one of the trusted manufacturers of equipment for the collision repair and metalworking industries, has just announced the recent Tesla approval of their SP Series MIG Welders for the structural aluminum repairs on the Models S and X.
According to the sources, Pro Spot’s SP-5.3 Double Pulse 3-Phase Smart MIG and the SP-5 Smart MIG both received a ‘yes’ from the car manufacturer due to their excellent features, which include the three dedicated torches: one for aluminum, another for steel, and the third for silicon bronze. These torches, specifically, are very useful in preventing costly mistakes from confusing silicon bronze and other welding wire, and from mixing aluminum and steel.
“Congratulations to the entire Pro Spot team,” said Pro Spot President, Ron Olsson, in a statement. “Our commitment to a total aluminum repair solution is paying off. To be recognized by a high technology company, like Tesla, is a great confirmation that our product development is on point,” he added.
Essentially, Tesla isn’t the only vehicle brand that saw the quality and caliber of Pro Spot International’s products. Before, the California-based manufacturer has already earned approvals from big names, such as Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Corvette, Honda/Acura, and even for Ford’s F-150, Cadillac’s CT6, and more. Tesla, on the other hand, has also given their nods on other equipment alongside the two Pro Spot MIG welders. To be exact, they have approved the Synergic 2700 CMT, the Fronius TransPuls Synergic 2700 as well as the TPS 270i C Pulse and 320i.
Pro Spot International, Inc. was established in the year 1986. Headquartered in Carlsbad in California, they are well-known to be a manufacturer of equipment and tools for the collision repair sector.
